As a Mega-GT and Koenigsegg’s first four-seater, the Gemera represents a revolutionary new vehicle category with an innovative automotive design to match. The Gemera's architecture boasts a robust and monolithic characteristic that takes inspiration from very early Koenigsegg designs. The essence of a megacar is obvious in the exterior, but the fact that it's a four-seater is a complete surprise when the giant doors swing open.

The Gemera seats four tall adults comfortably with space catering to their carry-on luggage - three bags in the back and one in the front. A glass panel in the back rises and reveals a deep compartment where three cabin bags can be placed. The engine and technical components are behind the monocoque, but as the engine is small by industry standards, this bespoke design accommodates extra luggage space.

The essence of the megacar is obvious in the exterior, but the fact that it’s a four-seater is a complete surprise when the giant doors swing open. This is the Koenigsegg megacar experience shared with family and friends.

As far as creature comforts are concerned, no shortcuts were taken. You get perfectly padded memory foam seats, eight cup holders - four heated and four cooled, entertainment screens with Apple CarPlay for both the front and rear passengers, and the ever-necessary induction and USB charging ports. The 11-speaker sound system is out of this world.

Fitted with a custom titanium Akrapovič exhaust, the TFG’s 2-liter three-cylinder engine gives lag-free response and comes with an evocative and deep-throated growl. The TFG may be a small engine but it has a big, thumping sound thanks to its large bore and stroke, combined with the “open” sound of Freevalves. The result is a deep, throaty, responsive and alluring engine sound. The sound can also be smooth, as the exhaust notes can be tuned and balanced by the Freevalve system.

The torque required for extreme speeds is facilitated by the HydraCoup in the Gemera's KDD transmission – it converts the combined 1100 Nm from the TFG and front e-motor to almost double, up to 3000 rpm. That is why the Gemera has 3500 Nm of torque from standstill and why it can accelerate from 0-400 km/h using a single gear.

Performance
And
Practicality

The Gemera can travel up to 50 km in EV only mode and up to an additional 950 km highway cruise speed in hybrid mode, before needing a fill-up – totaling a range of 1000 km. This makes the Gemera a true continent crossing family-oriented “Autobahn” rocketship.

All-wheel
Torque

The all-wheel torque of over 11000 Nm is clawed into the ground from standstill, creating quite the undertaking for the Gemera’s massive and grippy Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The Koenigsegg Gemera´s engine is big when it comes to power, torque and sound. Still, it is small when it comes to emissions and consumption. In short - it is a contradiction of an engine, developed and created by Koenigsegg and its sister company, Freevalve.
